About Us

Scientists and Engineers for Change is an independent political committee organized under section 527 of the tax code. Its purpose is to ensure that issues affected by science and technology are fully explored in the 2004 Presidential election and that the nation's scientists and engineers recognize the stakes involved and actively participate in the political process. We operate from a conviction that America's aspirations depend in critical ways on the wise management of our nation's scientific and engineering resources. Our founding members include a dozen Nobel Laureates, two former Science Advisors to the President, and a National Medal of Technology winner who is one of the "fathers of the Internet".

Contributions may be made in unlimited amounts via check or electronic transfer.

Scientists and Engineers for Change maintains offices in Washington, D.C. and can be contacted at: info@scientistsandengineersforchange.org
